Brad Takairangi (born 14 June 1989) is an Australian rugby league player who currently plays for the Parramatta Eels of the National Rugby League. Takairangi is a utility player, having filled roles at lock, second-row, centre and five-eighth. A Cook Islands international representative, Takairangi previously played for the Sydney Roosters between 2010 and 2012 and the Gold Coast Titans in 2013 and 2014.
Born in Sydney, New South Wales, Takairangi is of Cook Islands and Māori descent.
Takairangi played his junior football with the Cronulla-Caringbah Sharks before being signed the South Sydney Rabbitohs. In 2009, Takairangi made his international debut for the Cook Islands, kicking 3 conversions in a 22-20 defeat of Samoa.
Takairangi played in the Rabbitohs NYC team in 2008 and 2009, before being signed by the Sydney Roosters in February 2010. In round 2, he made his NRL debut for the Roosters against the Wests Tigers off the interchange bench in the 44-32 win at the SFS. Takairangi played in one other match during the season.
