As of the census of 2000, there were 322 people, 125 households, and 88 families residing in the town. The population density was 104.6 people per square mile (40.4/km²). There were 135 housing units at an average density of 43.8 per square mile (16.9/km²). The racial makeup of the town was 81.37% White and 18.63% African American. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 0.31% of the population.
