Boost Region cricket team

Boost Region is one of six first-class cricket teams in Afghanistan. The region represents the following provinces in the south and west of Afghanistan: Kandahar, Helmand, Urozgan, Zabul, Nimroz, Herat, Ghor, Badghis and Farah.

Boost Region compete in the Ahmad Shah Abdali 4-day Tournament, which will have first-class status from 2017 onwards. They also compete in the Afghan Twenty20 competition (which will have List A status from 2017) using the name Boost Defenders.
