Bohuslavice (Opava District)


Bohuslavice (German: Buslawitz, Polish: Bogusławice) is a village in the Moravian-Silesian Region of the Czech Republic. It is a part of micro-region Hlučínsko. It has around 1,600 inhabitants. The village is surrounded by ponds and forests.

Until 1920, it belonged to the Prussian province of Silesia.

After the Munich Agreement in 1938, Bohuslavice became part of the Third Reich. In the Hlučín region, lived that time 51,455 Germans and only 36 Czechs.
