Bogdan Lucian Aurescu (born 9 September 1973) is a Romanian diplomat. He was a secretary of state at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from 2009 to 2014, as well as a professor at the University of Bucharest. He was Foreign Affairs Minister from November 2014 to November 2015.
Between 2004 and 2009, Aurescu was his country's chief counsel in the Maritime Delimitation in the Black Sea case, a boundary dispute with Ukraine that Romania brought before the International Court of Justice.
