Metrolink
Bob Hope Airport-Hollywood Way is a future Metrolink rail station in the city of Burbank, California. It will serve Antelope Valley Line passengers who are travelling to Hollywood Burbank Airport. It is eventually planned to serve California High Speed Rail, operating between Anaheim Regional Transportation Intermodal Center (ARTIC), and San Francisco's Transbay Transit Center. When completed the station will be located near the intersection of San Fernando Boulevard and Hollywood Way and a free shuttle bus will take passengers to the terminal located 1 mile away from the station site.
In 2013, an environmental study was conducted as a prerequisite before construction could begin.
Groundbreaking for the station was held on June 21, 2013. A metro.net factsheet dated April 2, 2015, said that construction was scheduled to begin in July 2015 with operations in April 2016. By March 2017, construction had begun on the station with a new completion date of June 2018.
