The Italian Catholic Diocese of Trivento (Latin: Dioecesis Triventinus) in Molise, southern Italy, has existed since the tenth century. Historically the diocese was a suffragan of the archdiocese of Benevento. It is now a suffragan of the archdiocese of Campobasso-Boiano.

The earliest bishop of Trivento was St. Castus of an uncertain epoch, the local legend assigning him to the fourth century.
