William Lawrence Hicke (March 31, 1938 – July 18, 2005) was a Canadian professional ice hockey player. A native of Regina, Saskatchewan, Hicke played for teams in the NHL, SJHL, Memorial Cup, AHL, CPHL, and the WHA. Hicke is the older brother of Ernie Hicke.

Hicke played the position of right wing for the Regina Pats from 1954 to 1958, the Montreal Canadiens from 1958 to 1965 (with stints for the AHL's Rochester Americans during the 1958-59 and 1959-60 seasons, and the Cleveland Barons during 1964-65), the New York Rangers from 1964 to 1967 (with stints for the Minnesota Rangers in 1965-66 and the Baltimore Clippers in 1966-67), the Oakland/California Seals from 1967 to 1971, and the Pittsburgh Penguins in 1971. In November 1971 Hicke was traded to the Detroit Red Wings but never played for the parent club, instead toiling for their affiliates the Tidewater Wings and Fort Worth Wings from 1971 to 1972. Hicke then played a single season for the WHA Alberta Oilers in 1972-73 before retiring as a player. The brother of hockey player Ernie Hicke, he was a member of the AHL First All-Star Team in 1959, recipient of the Dudley 'Red' Garrett Memorial Trophy Award for Top Rookie in the AHL in 1959, recipient of the John B. Sollenberger Trophy for Top Scorer in the AHL in 1959, recipient of the Les Cunningham Award for MVP in the AHL with Rudy Migay in 1959, and in 1959, 1960, and 1969, he played in the NHL All-Star Game.
