Bijapur Bulls is franchise cricket team representing Gulbarga zone, Karnataka in the Karnataka Premier League (KPL). It is one of the eight founding member teams of KPL 2009. The franchise is owned by Vivid Kreations.
The team is currently captained by Balachandra Akhil and has played twice in the semi finals.
Bijapur Bulls (BB) is a franchise of Karnataka Premier League (KPL) owned by Vivid Kreations. At the inaugural auction of Karnataka Premier League (KPL), Bijapur Bulls was one of the eight teams that were formed. Mr. Kiran Kattimani is the founder of Vivid Kreations and thus the owner of the BB franchise. Bijapur Bulls represent the Gulbarga zone of Karnataka State. Its logo is inspired by the famous Gol Gumbaz monument in Bijapur.

Bijapur Bulls finished third on the points table in the opening season of KPL. They lost in the semis to Bangalore Provident (Rural) by 20 runs. The squad for Season 1 : Sudhindra Shinde (c), Akshay, Deepak Anish, Mithun Birala, Stuart Binny, Pranesh Desai, Gaurav Dheeman, Abhishek Jagan, Ravi Kane, Vijay Kumar, Daniel Liao, Mohammed Arif, Devraj Patil, Nelson Pinto, Surendra Prasad, Praveen Kumar, Karan Rao, Arvind Reddy, Allpally Sandeep, Jayaprakash Shetty and Harishachar Vinay Kumar.
Bijapur Bulls finished seventh on the points table in the season and did not qualify for the semi finals.
This was the Best season for Bijapur Bulls, who finished top of the table. Bijapur Bulls lost to Belagavi Panthers in the crucial semi final. This is the second time Bijapur Bulls has lost in the semi finals. But the season marked the rise of mystery spinner KC Cariappa, who was then selected to play the IPL as he was picked by Kolkata Knight Riders.
