Beslan Eshba is one of three current Vice Premiers of Abkhazia.

Eshba was born on 23 December 1967. In 1992, he graduated from the State Institute for Agriculture in Sukhumi as engineer-technician.

From 1994 to 1995, Eshba headed the Foundation for the Renaissance of Abkhazia in Moscow, which procured humanitarian supplies to Abkhazia following the 1992–1993 war with Georgia. Between February 1996 and February 1999, he served as economic advisor to President Vladislav Ardzinba, between 1999 and 2005 as head the State Company Abkhaztop, from 2007 to 2010 as chairman of the board of the Universal Bank and between August 2010 and September 2011, as assistant to the Head of the Government of Abkhazia.

Eshba was elected to the People's Assembly of Abkhazia in the 2012 elections. Eshba had not originally participated, but stood as a candidate in the rerun in constituency no. 1, which became necessary after the original election had been declared invalid because the turnout had failed to surpass the threshold of 25%. He won a first round victory with 1932 out of 3413 votes (56.61%), defeating four candidates who had also stood in the original election.

On 30 April 2013, Eshba was appointed Vice Premier by President Alexander Ankvab. Following the May 2014 revolution against Ankvab, Eshba resigned on 3 June 2014 — his resignation was accepted that same day by acting President Valeri Bganba.

On 16 August 2015, Eshba was elected Chairman of Apsadgyl, following its transformation into a socio-political organisation.

On 12 August 2016, Eshba was once more appointed Vice Premier after the number of Vice Premiers in the Government of President Khajimba was increased from one to three with the formation of the cabinet of Prime Minister Beslan Bartsits. On 6 October, due to Eshba's appointment, Apsadgyl's executive committee replaced him as their Chairman with former Culture Minister Nugzar Logua.
