Baniapur is a town in Saran district of Bihar state, India.
The place is famous for the Baniapur Cattle Mela which though is not as famous as the Sonepur Cattle Mela of Bihar, which attracts visitors from far off places. Famous religious place is samadhi of Lakshman Das And Shah madeen.
