Bandhi (Sindhi: ٻانڌي ) (Urdu: باندھی‎) is a town of Shaheed Benazir Abad District of Sindh, with a population of over 40,000.

Bandhi is not a historically rich town, however there are few big names who have done research on the history of town. A history book “ Bandhi’a ji Tareekh’a” written by famous writer Shabir Ahmed Abbasi was launched in November 2016 at Dr Nabi Bakhsh Khan Baloch Hall, Sindhi Language Authority, Hyderabad. The “Bandhi’a Ji Taareekh’a” details history of Bandhi town of district Nawabshah Sindh Pakistan. Researcher, critic and Chairman, Sindhi Language Authority, Dr.Ghafoor Memon, Scholar Prof. Qalander Lakyari, Prof: Lal Bukhsh Jiskani, intellectual, writers and poets Inam Saikh, Ayaz Latif Palejo, Naseer Mirza, Taj Joyo, Niaz Panhwer, Madad Ali Sindhi, Ali Doost Aajaz and others spoke on the significance of the book and the research style carried out by the researcher/writer.

Bandhi town is a multi-ethnic and has a mix of Sindhi, Urdu speaking Muhajirs, Punjabis, Pashtuns, and Baloch people. Almost 95% of the people of town are Muslims.

There are various primary schools and couple of higher schools in town.
