Baltic Ground Services is a regional group of aircraft ground handling companies proving a full range of ground handling and fueling services. It is a part of Avia Solutions Group. As of 2011, Baltic Ground Services operates in airports of Lithuania and Poland.
Baltic Ground Services was established on September 15, 2005, after state-owned Lithuanian Airlines were acquired and reorganized by LAL investicijų valdymas (now known as Avia Solutions Group). In July 2006, Baltic Ground Services were sold to UAB Finansų spektro investicija. The company was bought back by Avia Solutions Group from investment company Invalda in November 2008.
Initially the company operated just in Vilnius International Airport. Baltic Ground Services briefly operated in Kaunas International Airport (March 2006 – December 2008), and Riga International Airport (April 2008 – ?). In May 2010, Baltic Ground Services established a subsidiary in Poland with hopes to expand into six largest Polish airports in Warsaw, Kraków, Wrocław, Gdańsk, Poznan and Katowice.
