Ballymacarbry (Irish: Baile Mhac Cairbre, meaning "Mac Carbre's Townland") is a village in County Waterford, Ireland with an approximate population of 200 people.

Ballymacarbry is situated on the R671 regional road, approximately 17 km. from Clonmel and 24 km. from Dungarvan

The painter and teacher Daniel (Dan) Ryan was born in the village in 1928. He went on to teach in St Eunan's College, Letterkenny, County Donegal, for many years and later went on to become a painter. His landscapes include representations of the surrounding Donegal countryside. He died of Alzheimer's disease in 2007 aged 79.

Waterford senior hurler Jamie Barron is from Ballymacarbry. He plays Gaelic football and hurling for the local teams The Nire and Fourmilewater.
