BNK48 (short for BaNgKok48) is a Thai Idol Group and the 3rd international sister group of AKB48, after Indonesia's JKT48 and China's SNH48 who now was ties out. The 1st generation members were announced on February 12, 2017. The origin of the group name is Bangkok, the capital city of Thailand. Logo color is the orchid as popular flower in Thailand, is used as a motif.
