Avon Terrace, York

Avon Terrace is the main street for the town of York, Western Australia.

Situated in the , it is lined with heritage listed buildings, at its central location, and is a north-south road that links with Northam - the next town to the north, and Beverley to the south.

The York Town Hall defines the southern portion of the larger buildings on its western side, and the York Cooperative building is at the northern end on the eastern side of the main stretch of heritage buildings of size.

In more prosperous times for the rural community, parking was an issue as well as appearance whereas in the 2010s the general condition of the terrace required further face lifts for the tourist attraction of the heritage buildings
