The Australia men's national lacrosse team represents Australia at men's lacrosse. The team nickname is the Sharks, and is governed by the Australian Lacrosse Association. The Sharks most recently competed in the 2014 World Lacrosse Championship, held in Denver, United States, where they finished fourth (behind Canada, the United States and the Iroquois Nationals) - the first time they have finished outside the top three in World Lacrosse Championships history. In previous World Lacrosse Championships, the Australian men's team have been runners-up on 4 occasions and came 3rd on 7 occasions.
The Australian Under 19 men's national lacrosse team, nicknamed the Crocodiles, participated most recently in the 2012 FIL U19 Men's World Championships in Turku, Finland and finished fifth.
