Aurora Boreal (Portuguese for Northern Lights) is the eighth album by Brazilian rock band Flerte Fatal, released in 2009. Decided to continue innovating, the band bet in a mix of electronic music and funk rock. Aurora Boreal was widely praised by music critics, but the fans of the group didn't accept very well this new work. This was the last album to feature the second line-up of Flerte Fatal, since the original guitarist of the group, Filipe Galvão, returned to play with the band in 2010, forming the current line-up with two guitar players.
"O Homem Amarelo", "Descendo o Arco-Íris", "As Quatro Estações" and the title track were the highlights.
