Aurangabad is a census town in Suti II CD block in Jangipur subdivision of Murshidabad district in the Indian state of West Bengal.The police station is Suti, which is the police station for Suti — I and Suti — II blocs.

As per the 2011 Census of India, Aurangabad had a total population of 39,261, of which 19,474 (50%) were males and 19,787 (49%) were females. Population below 6 years was 6,529. The total number of literates in Aurangabad was 21,027 (64.24% of the population over 6 years).
