Ashish Sharma is an Indian film and television actor. He is recognized for his roles as Lord Ram in the TV show Siya Ke Ram , as Major Rudra Pratap Ranawat in the TV show Rangrasiya and as Chandragupta Maurya in Chandragupta Maurya TV Show on NDTV-Imagine TV.
Ashish Sharma began his film career with the 2010 Hindi film Love Sex Aur Dhokha. In the same year he starred as the male lead in Imagine TV's Gunahon Ka Devta. He then delineated Chandragupta Maurya in the historical drama series Chandragupta Maurya. He also appeared as Ranveer in Zee TV's Rab se Sona ishq. But it was his character,Major Rudra Pratap Ranawat,a BSD officer, in Colors TV's RangRasiya, that garnered him both critical and audience appreciation. He was the winner of dance reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa season 7 in 2014. He was last seen portraying Lord Ram in Siya ke Ram. Ashish is listed 4th in 50 Sexiest Asian Man Alive in 2016,By Eastern Eye London.
