Arthur Hill High School is located at 3115 Mackinaw in Saginaw, Michigan. The student population is 1,012 students as of the 2013-14 school year. Of the three high schools in the Saginaw Public School District, Arthur Hill's student population is the largest.

The school was named after a successful lumbering and shipping owner, Arthur Hill. He was President of the School Board for five years.

Arthur Hill graduates Theodore Roethke, a winner of the Pulitzer Prize for poetry in 1954 for his book, The Waking.

Arthur Hill High School is recognized by NCA (North Central Association of Colleges and Schools) as an accredited public high school.

Arthur Hill High School Profile 2013/2014

Arthur Hill High School has won several state, regional, and district championships, primarily in boys' basketball and football. The most recent state boys' basketball championships were in 2006 and 1999.

Dick Rifenburg was a star athlete at Arthur Hill High School in football, basketball, and track and field. He led Arthur Hill to MHSAA Class A high school state championship in 1944. The Lumberjacks won the game against Kalamazoo Central High School and an undefeated season (19-0). He scored 24 points, including 17 in the second half. Dick was also the state champion shot put and high jump in 1944. He led Lumberjacks to their first State Track Championship. Rifenburg was named All State in football, basketball and track. In 2002, He was inducted into The Saginaw County Sports Hall of Fame.

NBA player Jason Richardson of the Philadelphia 76ers, winner of two NBA Slam Dunk titles, is an alumnus of Arthur Hill, as is former Drake University point guard Adam Emmenecker, who went from three-year walk-on to Missouri Valley Conference Player of the Year in his final season in 2008 and current Oakland Athletics pitching coach Curt Young.
