Arne Kring is a Swedish former professional racer. His greatest successes came in the 1970s and after. Like many Swedes of his time, he rode Husqvarna bikes. His best performance was in when he led in the 500cc points standings after the first nine rounds, before he broke his back while competing in a non-championship race. He finished the season in second place behind Bengt Åberg during a year of Swedish domination in the 500 cc class, with fellow Swede Åke Jonsson finishing in third place. He also was a member of the winning Swedish team of the in 1970 and in 1974. Kring was also one of the pioneers who helped to make motocross extremely popular in the United States.
