AR 163 runs through Lake Poinsett State Park near Lake Poinsett in Poinsett County. Continuing north, the route briefly meets AR 14/AR 214 east of Harrisburg. AR 163 and AR 214 form a short concurrency. AR 163 later meets AR 158, with these two routes concurring until just south of Jonesboro. AR 163 meets AR 1 south of Jonesboro, where it terminates.
