Arima clan

The Arima clan (有馬氏, Arima-shi^?) is a Japanese kin group.

The clan claims descent from the Akamatsu clan and from the Murakami-Genji.

The Arima clan based in Hizen claims descent from Fujiwara Sumitomo.

In the Shimabara Rebellion, former Arima vassals, many Christian, made one of the most significant threats to Tokugawa rule.
