Arie Pais

Aäron (Arie) Pais (born 16 April 1930, The Hague) is a former Dutch politician and economist.

Pais was Minister of Education and Sciences in the First Van Agt cabinet from 1977 to 1981. He was also Vice-Chair of the European Investment Bank.

He is married to former VVD Minister Eegje Schoo.
