Anup Revanna (Kannada: ಅನೂಪ್ ರೇವಣ್ಣ) is an Indian film Actor who works in Kannada cinema. The son of former Karnataka minister H.M. Revanna, Anup entered the film industry as an actor through the 2016 action film Lakshmana.
Anup Revanna was born on 8 February 1994 in Bangalore as the son of Politician H.M. Revanna and Vatsala Revanna. He graduated with a B.Tech degree in Automobile Engineering from Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering, Bangalore in 2015.
Anup started acting at age of 11 in a play named Fastus and later on played a role in the play Macbeth. He learned acting in Koothu-P-Pattarai an avant-garde theatre movement of Chennai in the year of 2014. Also he learnt basics of Kung fu in Yantai, China. In 2016 Anup debuted as a lead actor in R. Chandru's action film Lakshmana. The film opened to positive reviews, with Anup winning positive reviews for his performance as a hero. His second film as a hero is Na Panta Kano, directed by S. Narayan is scheduled to release in 2017.
