Anthony "Ngọc Trí" Phan is an American politician currently serving as a member of the Milpitas City Council. Elected at the age of 22, he is one of the youngest elected officials in the US.
In 2013, Phan was unanimously appointed by the San Jose City Council to oversee the city's public library system as a member of the Library and Early Education Commission.
In 2014, Phan campaigned for a seat on the East Side Union High School District Board of Trustees. He lost a margin of less than 1.5%. Phan was endorsed by the South Bay Labor Council and Santa Clara County Democratic Party as well as then-California State Controller John Chiang.
Phan later moved to Milpitas, and in 2016 sought and won a seat on city council. In June 2017, the California Fair Political Practices Commission confirmed it was investigating allegations that Phan had improperly reported campaign contributions and loans.
In 2015, Mochi magazine named Anthony on their list of "25 Hottest Asian American Men Worth Watching" for his accomplishments in public service.
