Yordan Álvarez (born June 27, 1997) is an American professional baseball first baseman and outfielder in the Houston Astros organization.
Álvarez played two seasons in the Cuban National Series for Las Tunas. He signed with the Los Angeles Dodgers as an international free agent in June 2016.
In August 2016, Álvarez was traded from the Dodgers to the Houston Astros for Josh Fields. He made his professional debut with the Dominican Summer League Astros. He started 2017 with the Quad Cities River Bandits and was promoted to the Buies Creek Astros during the season.
Rogelio Armenteros Peña (born June 30, 1994) is a Cuban professional baseball pitcher in the Houston Astros organization.
Armenteros played for Industriales of the Cuban National Series in 2011/2012. In September 2014, he signed with the Houston Astros as an international free agent.
Armenteros made his professional debut 2015 with the Tri-City ValleyCats and was later promoted to the Quad Cities River Bandits that season. In 2016, he pitched for Quad Cities, Lancaster JetHawks and Corpus Christi Hooks. After the season he pitched in the Arizona Fall League. Armenteros started 2017 with Corpus Christi and was promoted to the Fresno Grizzlies.
