In Christian demonology, Anamelech is an Assyrian goddess later claimed by Christian sources to be a demon worshipped alongside Adramelech, the sun god. She takes the form of a quail. She is a lunar deity and is said to have been worshipped at Sepharvaun, an Assyrian town. The name means "Anu is king."
