Ampthill Tunnel
Ampthill tunnel is a railway tunnel at Ampthill on the London Midland region between Bedford and Flitwick. There are two bores; one carrying a pair of fast lines, the other a pair of slow lines. The Sheffield Daily Telegraph reported that the tunnels were 759 yards (694 m) long on completion.
