Nong Bua Daeng (Thai: หนองบัวแดง) is a district (Amphoe) of Chaiyaphum Province, northeastern Thailand.
The district was established as a minor district (King Amphoe) on July 16, 1965, when the two tambon Nong Bua Daeng and Nang Daet were split off from Kaset Sombun district. It was officially upgraded to be full district on April 1, 1969.
Neighboring district are (from the north clockwise) Amphoe Khon San, Kaset Sombun, Mueang Chaiyaphum, Ban Khwao, Nong Bua Rawe and Phakdi Chumphon of Chaiyaphum Province, and Nong Phai and Mueang Phetchabun of Phetchabun Province.
The district is subdivided into 8 subdistricts (tambon), which are further subdivided into 130 villages (muban). There is one municipality (thesaban), and 8 Tambon administrative organizations (TAO).
