The American Exchange Bank (1871) is located in Madison, Wisconsin. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1980. The bank was also designated a landmark by the Madison Landmarks Commission in 1975.

The American Exchange Bank has been a Madison institution since 1871. It was originally called the Park Savings Bank and located in a different building. It was renamed the American Exchange Bank during World War I and moved to its current location in 1922.

This Italian Renaissance Revival style structure, a distinguished example of its type, was designed by architect Stephen Vaughn Shipman. Built of Madison sandstone, the edifice occupies the former site of the American House (1838-1868), where the territorial legislative session met on Nov. 26, 1838.
