Alwyn Joseph Robinson (born March 5, 1989) is an American musician and composer from Marshall, TX. He is most notably a drummer and songwriter and works across many different genres of music.

Alwyn was raised in a Marshall, TX household that had a wide-spanning passion for music and instrumentation. The preeminent musical influence on him was his father, Anthony Robinson, Sr., who is a high school music teacher in his hometown.

Alwyn studied music in college, graduating with an undergraduate degree from Texas Tech University and a Master's degree in Music from University of Colorado at Boulder. His higher education led him to perform in a variety of Jazz and classical performance settings, including: symphony orchestra, jazz big band, symphonic wind ensemble, percussion ensemble, steel drum ensemble, and jazz combo.

Alwyn currently tours as a member of the bluegrass jam band, Leftover Salmon as well as remaining an active part of many other projects including the self-titled band named, ALWYN, as well as a jam band side project with Jake Joliff of Yonder Mountain String Band named Alwyn & Joliff.

Alwyn has shared the stage and recorded with musicians such as: Leftover Salmon, Oteil Burbridge, Jackson Browne, Bill Payne, Benny Golson, Jeff Coffin, Sam Bush, Mike Gordon, Colonel Bruce Hampton, Rachael Price, Bridget Kearney, Phil Lesh, Tim Carbone, John Bell, Taj Mahal, Nikki Bluhm, Andy Hall, Karl Denson, Jake Jolliff, Fruition, Margaret Glaspy, Rob Eaton Jr., Jeff Jenkins and many others.
