Alessandro Polita (born 3 June 1984) is an Italian motorcycle racer, winner of the in . His sister, Alessia Polita, also ran as a professional rider, until an accident caused paralysis of the lower limbs.
After winning in 2006 the World Cup Superstock 1000 with a Suzuki GSXR1000 K6 Celani Suzuki Italian team in 2007 he made his debut in the World Superbike championship with the same team. This season, where Polita reported some injuries, gets with his Suzuki GSX-R1000 K6 eight World Championship points which earned the 24th place overall.
In 2008 he accepts the proposals of the team Sterilgarda Go Eleven for racing with a Ducati 1098 in the Superstock 1000 FIM Cup, so it Jesi part in the championship which has already seen the winner in 2006 . Ending the season in third place, fighting for the title until the last race, winning the Grand Prix of San Marino at Misano Adriatico .
