Albion is a city in Marshall County, Iowa, United States. The population was 505 at the 2010 census.

Albion was founded in 1852. The town was first called La Fayette until the name was changed to Albion in 1858.

Albion is located at 42°6′42″N 92°59′27″W / 42.11167°N 92.99083°W / 42.11167; -92.99083 (42.111745, -92.990757).

According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 0.60 square miles (1.55 km2), all land.

As of the census of 2010, there were 505 people, 206 households, and 147 families residing in the city. The population density was 841.7 inhabitants per square mile (325.0/km2). There were 220 housing units at an average density of 366.7 per square mile (141.6/km2). The racial makeup of the city was 97.8% White, 0.2% African American, 0.4% Pacific Islander, and 1.6% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 1.8% of the population.

There were 206 households of which 31.1% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 55.8% were married couples living together, 6.3% had a female householder with no husband present, 9.2% had a male householder with no wife present, and 28.6% were non-families. 23.8% of all households were made up of individuals and 8.8% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.45 and the average family size was 2.83.
