Ahmed Gaid Salah (Arabic: أحمد قايد صالح; born 13 January 1940, in Batna, Algeria) is a senior officer of the Algerian army. In 2004, he became chief of staff of the Algerian People's National Army. In September 2013 he became vice minister of defence.
Gaid Salah was promoted to the rank of General in 1993. He is married and father of seven children.
