Ahaana was born as the eldest daughter of actor Krishna Kumar and Sindhu. She studied in Holy Angels' ISC School, Trivandrum. She currently lives in Chennai to complete her college career. She did her first film in malayalam.

Ahaana plays the female lead in Rajeev Ravi's second directorial venture, which has director Fazil's son Farhaan Faasil as the hero. The film released on 2014 as an Onam release.
