Afghanistan–United Arab Emirates relations refer to bilateral relations between Afghanistan and the United Arab Emirates.
UAE has a small humanitarian military presence in Afghanistan. UAE troops have been welcomed by the country as allied Muslim soldiers and the Emirati soldiers compliment the Afghan hospitality they encounter. Protests from Kabul arose when the Issa bin Zayed Al Nahyan torture controversy erupted, in which Issa, a member of the royal family, was spotted brutally beating an Afghan man who was accused to have ripped him off for only $5,000. The UAE maintains an embassy in Kabul while Afghanistan has an embassy in Abu Dhabi and consulate-general in Dubai.
On January 10, 2017, five diplomats from the UAE were killed in a bombing of a guest house in Kandahar City, wounding the UAE's Ambassador to Afghanistan, Juma Mohammed Abdullah al-Kaabi.
