Acme is a census-designated place (CDP) in Whatcom County, Washington, United States. The population was 246 at the 2010 census.

Acme is located in the South Fork Valley between the northern Cascade Mountains and Lake Whatcom. Acme is locally known as a scenic area with a number of camping opportunities along Lake Whatcom, including the Lake Whatcom Railroad.

Acme was named by Samuel Parks around 1887 after the name of a hymnal in his possession.

Acme is located at 48°42′55″N 122°12′36″W / 48.71528°N 122.21000°W / 48.71528; -122.21000 (48.715402, -122.209954).

According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 9.8 square miles (25.4 km²), all of it land.

As of the census of 2000, there were 263 people, 82 households, and 66 families residing in the CDP. The population density was 26.8 people per square mile (10.4/km²). There were 88 housing units at an average density of 9.0/sq mi (3.5/km²). The racial makeup of the CDP was 93.16% White, 3.80% from other races, and 3.04% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 4.94% of the population.

There were 82 households out of which 53.7% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 61.0% were married couples living together, 9.8% had a female householder with no husband present, and 19.5% were non-families. 13.4% of all households were made up of individuals and 4.9% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 3.20 and the average family size was 3.52.
