Abi & Abi Pictures is a film production and distribution company based in Chennai. The company has distributed and produced several Tamil films, and also distributes films across South India.
The company is a unit of Abi & Abi group of companies,institutions & media, which is associated with the leading business partners such as , Yamaha Corporation, Tata Motors, Pepsi, Honda, Kirloskar, Ashok Leyland, Mitsubishi, Exide Industries, Microtek, Apollo Tyres, Michelin and overseas businesses like Construction in Dubai, Hotels in London, Manufacturing and Marketing of Electronic Products and Toys in China, Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong in addition to import and export of spices and food products. Abi & Abi Pictures had started its career as a distributor and financier in the industry on 2011 with their first movie Eththan starring Vimal, Sanusha, Jayaprakash and others, directed by L. K. Suresh and produced by Sherali Films, Nazir Hussain. And over in the year the company had distributed three more movies in entire Tamil Nadu. In the year of 2012 also Abi & Abi had distributed around 15 like Manam Kothi Paravai, Naduvula Konjam Pakkatha Kaanom, and more films in various areas of Tamil Nadu and in the year 2013 had financed for various distributors for projects like Ethirneechal and Kedi Billa Killadi Ranga.
