Abby Finkenauer is the Iowa State Representative from the 99th District. A Democrat, she has served in the Iowa House of Representatives since 2015. Finkenauer was born, raised, and resides in Dubuque, Iowa.
As of March 2016, Finkenauer serves on the following committees in the Iowa House: Economic Growth, Labor, Transportation, and Ways and Means. She is also a member of the Economic Development Appropriations Subcommittee.
In May 2017, Finkenauer announced her candidacy for the United States House of Representatives seat currently held by Republican Rod Blum.
