An airplane disappears mysteriously, taking on board the sister twin of Verónica (Dalila Carmo), Victim of a fraud of a millionaire (Pedro Lamares). Given as dead, Veronica assumes the identity of her sister, Vitória (Dalila Carmo) and wishes to avenge herself on the entrepreneur's family, finding in Diana (Fernanda Serrano), his wife, a strong opponent. In the middle of this war, Jaime (André Carvalho), the nephew of Veronica, who suffers from cancer and needs to be saved, like Rodrigo (Diogo Infante), Diana's great love in the past, but two rivals in the present.

Months later and without his daughter in his arms, "Veronica" (Dalila Carmo) remains in pre-trial detention, to pay for a crime he did not commit. Far from it all, Veronica (Dalila Carmo) is living a real nightmare. His lawyer wants her to take the blame for the death of Samuel (Ery Costa) and the life of Verónica (Dalila Carmo) could not be more difficult in jail: Several inmates decide to make it a black life whenever they have the opportunity.

Daniel (Graciano Dias) is able to get rid of the prison, after kidnapping the daughter of Diana (Fernanda Serrano), but it seems that it is not yet of this that one will redeem of its sins. Daniel (Ery Costa) is out to get money, even if he has to rob the office of Samuel (Ery Costa).

After leaving the Ximbengo, Patrícia (Maya Booth) returns to Lisbon and will be the great ally of Verónica (Dalila Carmo). She will do anything to get her new friend out of jail.

It seems that the rebel times are already there and Guta (Bárbara Branco) finally returns to focus on her dream: to be a singer. Lázaro (Evando Gomes) will be by his side, as always.
