The 2017 NCAA Division I Women's Soccer Tournament (semifinals and final also known as the 2017 Women's College Cup) will be the 36th annual single-elimination tournament to determine the national champion of NCAA Division I women's collegiate soccer. The semifinals and championship game will be played at Orlando City Stadium in Orlando, Florida from December 1–3, 2017 while the preceding rounds will be played at various sites across the country during November 2017.
All Division I women's soccer programs are eligible to qualify for the tournament. 64 teams will participate in the tournament. 28 teams will receive automatic bids by winning their conference tournaments and 3 teams will receive automatic bids by winning the conference regular-season championship (Ivy League, Pac-12 Conference, and West Coast Conference don't hold conference tournaments). The remaining 33 teams will be selected at-large by the NCAA Division I Women's Soccer Committee.
31 teams will secure qualification to the tournament by virtue of winning their conference's automatic bid.
