The 2017–18 San Jose State Spartans men's basketball team represents San Jose State University in the 2017–18 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. Led by first-year head coach Jean Prioleau, the Spartans play their home games at the Event Center Arena as members of the Mountain West Conference. Head coach Dave Wojcik resigned on July 10, 2017 citing personal reasons and assistant coach Rodney Tention was named interim head coach of the Spartans before the school hired Prioleau on August 4.

The Spartans finished the season 14–16 overall; and 7–11 in the conference. In the postseason, San Jose State lost to Utah State in the first round of the 2017 Mountain West Conference Men's Basketball Tournament in Paradise, Nevada.

This season was Dave Wojcik's final season as San Jose State head coach, as he resigned on July 10, 2017 for personal reasons.
