The 2017–18 Lietuvos krepšinio lyga (LKL) season, also called Betsafe-LKL for sponsorship reasons, is the 25th season of the top tier basketball league of Lithuania. The season will start in September 2017 and will end in June 2018.
Žalgiris is the defending champion.
During the regular season, all teams will play 36 games. The top eight teams in the after playing the whole 36 games each one will join the playoffs in the quarterfinals, that will be played in a best-of-three games format. The semifinals were also played in this format.
The final round was played between the two winners of the semifinals. The final series for the first place were played in a best-of-seven format, while the series for the third place were played in a best-of-five format.
