The 2017–18 Florida State Seminoles men's basketball team represents Florida State University during the 2017–18 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Seminoles are led by head coach Leonard Hamilton, in his 16th year, and play their home games at the Donald L. Tucker Center on the university's Tallahassee, Florida campus as members of the Atlantic Coast Conference.

The Seminoles finished the 2016–17 season with a record of 26–9, 12–6 in ACC play, to finish in a three-way tie for second place. They defeated Virginia Tech in the ACC Tournament before losing to Notre Dame in the quarterfinals. They received an at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament as the No. 3 seed in the West Region. There, they defeated Florida Gulf Coast in the First Round before losing to Xavier in the Second Round.
