The 2017–18 Coppa Italia, also known as TIM Cup for sponsorship reasons, is the 70th edition of the national cup in Italian football. The winners of the Coppa Italia will earn a place in the 2018–19 Europa League and would begin play in the group stage. Seventy-eight clubs will participate in this season's cup competition.

Juventus are the defending champions having won the cup in the previous season by defeating Lazio in the final.

A total of 36 teams from Serie C and Serie D competed in this round, 18 of which advanced to second round. The first round matches were played between 29 and 30 July 2017.



















A total of 40 teams from Serie B and Serie C and Serie D competed in the second round, 20 of which advanced to join 12 teams from Serie A in the third round. The second round matches were played 5–6 August 2017.





















A total of 32 teams from Serie A, Serie B and Serie C competed in the third round, 16 of which advanced to the fourth round. The third round matches were played 11–13 August 2017.
