† As of July 16, 2016, Brent Rooker intends to return to Mississippi State for the 2017 season after playing in a summer collegiate baseball league in 2016. Brent Rooker had 11 HRs, a 0.578 slugging percentage, and 54 RBI, leading the Bulldogs in all three categories. His 11 HRs were only 3 behind the SEC leader, Ole Miss' J.B. Woodman with 14.
