The 2010–11 season was the Fenerbahçe's 53rd consecutive season in the Süper Lig and their 103rd year in existence. They also competed in the UEFA Champions League starting in the third qualifying round. On 22 May 2011, Fenerbahçe won a record 18th Turkish league title.
On 20 May 2010 started sales for combined cards. On 10 June 2010 joined the team 4 years from Chelsea. On 25 June 2010 Fenerbahçe' s German coach Christoph Daum was fired, instead of Daum, Aykut Kocaman came. On 21 July 2010 Fenerbahçe met with Galatasaray for "Spor Toto Dostluk Kupası" in Borussia-Park, Mönchengladbach and Fenerbahçe won this match 1–0 and on this day Issiar Dia joined the club.
