The 2009–10 season is the 102nd season in Fenerbahçe S.K.'s existence, and their 52nd consecutive year in the top flight since its establishment, and covers the period from July 2009 to June 2010. Having finished 4th in the previous season, Fenerbahçe qualified for the newly formed UEFA Europa League third qualifying round and for the newly named Ziraat Turkish Cup group stage.
The club competed in Süper Lig, Turkish Cup in domestic and UEFA Champions League in European competitions. Fenerbahçe cruised past Hungarian side MTK Hungáriain the 2nd qualifying round, and defeated Serbian heavyweights FK Partizan in the 3rd qualifying round to progress through to the Group Stage. Fenerbahçe performed poorly in the Group Stage, only gaining 2 points in 6 games and coming last in Group G.
